Colombian Passport commits to taking the following steps to assist the Client with the Visa application:
 
Questionnaire and Checklist: A questionnaire and checklist of documents will be sent to collect the necessary information to fill out the Client's visa form.
Document Preparation and Submission: Prepare and organize all application documents for submission. Once everything is ready, the application will be submitted with the attached documents. The Cancillería or Consulate of Colombia can make the following decisions within the next 30 days:
Approval: The visa is approved.
Requirement: Request additional information or even a personal interview.
Inadmissibility: The application does not comply with the requirements or is declined based on
Discretionary Faculty (when they simply do not consider visa approval viable).
Rejection: If rejected, this decision results in the impossibility of submitting a new application within the next 6 months.
Visa Registration and Foreign ID Application: Assist the Client in registering the visa and applying for the Foreign ID Card (Cédula de Extranjería) once the visa is approved. 
 
The entire process is estimated to take between 3 to 5 weeks.
